Jean Pinder acted as chair for the evening in the absence of the president. Eight tables were in play for euchre and winners were as follows - Ladies high - Grace Broadfoot; Ladies lone hands - Dorothy mak; Ladies consolation - Eva McCartney; Gentleman's high - Bill Kelly; Gentleman's lone hands - Neil Bell; Gentlemen's consola- 1 Blowes speaker `at Brotherhood Night in town All Seaforth and Area com- munity organizations are invited to the annual Brother- hood Night. This special even- ing will be held at the Seaforth Legion on Thursday, Feb. 23 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Guest speaker is Ted Blowes. Enter- tainment is hosted by I.O.O.F. The Seaforth Co-operative Children's Centre would like to invite you to their general Ineeting on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the centre. The Co-operative Children's Centre will also be hosting a fundraiser and would like to invite you. `Dickie Bird' live in concert will be appearing at the Seaforth and District Commun- ity Centres on Sunday, March 5 at 2:00 p.m. Last week's Senior Shuffleboard winners after four games were: Women: J. This free skating will be held Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 10:00 to 11:30 p.m. at the Seaforth district arena. John Van Loon and Betty Hulley High Rollers Thirty-five seniors turned out to bowl on Jan. 27 only five men of these 35 managed scores over 200. John Van Loon had a good day with scores of 203,219,228 and triple 650. Betty Hulley had high single 195 and Ann Wood had .high triple 497 for the women. Charlie Perkins, Ron Bennett, Campbell Wey and Eric Matzold bowled over 200. Bowling over their average were Bill Mitchell, Joyce Wallace, Dorothy McCluskie, Dave Sim, Nancy Mitchell and Pat O'Reilly. The Maple Leafs only man- aged two points but still remain in first place. Murray Bennewies led the Jays with 268,278,315-861 and Martin Andreassi 208,201,20j-616. High for the Emus were Mark Higenell 225-535 and Cord Murray 205-526. The Partridges kept pace with the Jays with a 7-0 win over the Loons.
