A memorial service to acknowledge the life of this remarkable woman will be held at a later date. Grateful thanks to all her doctors, nurses and caring attendants of the Intensive Care Unit of Uniyersity Hospital, London. The family will establish an academic award at Hensall Public School in Minnie's honour. DEATHS DWYER, Timothy Fergus of R.R. 5, Mitchell passed away at the C.C.R.U. of Stratford General Hospital on Sunday December 25, 1994 in his 64th year following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Logan Township on February 6, 1931, a son of the late Timothy Dwyer and the former Margaret DeCoursey. On October 1, 1955 he was married to the former Arnolda (Nelda) Van Moorsel. Following their marriage the couple farmed at Lot 3, Concession 9 of Logan Township. He was a member of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Kinkora. He was a charter Grand Knight of Father Nolan Council N10655, Knights of Columbus at Kinkora. He maintained an avid interest in farming. Surviving besides his wife are their family Maureen Cortese and her husband Bob of Mossley; Timothy Dwyer and his friend Garry McCubbin of Port Stanley; Joseph Dwyer and his wife Teri, of R.R. 1, Dublin and Colleen Wiendels and her husband Nick of R.R. 1, Denfield, three brothers, Joseph Dwyer and Frank Dwyer and his wife Anne, all of St. Catherines and Edward Dwyer and his wife Gerry of Oshawa, two sisters, Rose Frayne and her husband Donald of R.R. 3, Goderich and Sister Lucille of Mount St. Joseph, London and four grandchildren, Christopher and Karen Cortese and Daniel and Eric Dwyer. Also surviving is his mother-in-law Nellie Van Moorsel of Stratford, brothers and sisters-in-law Helen Gates and her husband Larry of Brockville; Albert Van Moorsel and his wife Ricky of Recces Corners; Harry Van Moorsel and his wife Helen, Arnold Van Moorsel and his wife Jose, Bill Van Moorsel and his wife Tina, all of R.R. 5, Mitchell; John Van Moorsel and his wife Ricky of Strathroy; Rita Dewys and her husband John of New Zealand; Toni Berendsen of London and Liz Van Gaal and her husband John of Stratford, cousins Ann and Arnold Vandeven of Mossley and numerous nieces and nephews.
