Parr Line shuts out Perth team LADIES BROOMBALL November 23, 1994 PARR LINE 7 - PERTH 0 Perth ladies never gave up their esteem, it just seemed their goals were far and never between. Parr Line's Sandi Skinner goes way ever board with a superb hat trick and spare to boot, sneaking also into the limelight is Heidi Elliott, Bev Shea and Glenda Chapul Keen passes from Cathy Innes, Cindy Carter and a junior Lisa Reynolds who contrib- utes a quick pass. WINTHROP 3 - SOCIALITES 0 The Socialites rang the ball off goal posts and the cross bars but no true goal was achieved. Winthrop must have picked up a newcomer 8s this girl pops in two neat goals. Oh, shes wearing Diane Anderson's sweater number...Yes! it is really Diane Aden a via quick-acott goals. sm 4 to Barb Elliott direct passes from Tammy Nash. Good game ladies. MEN'S BROOMBALL WINTHROP 3 EASY RIDERS 1 Winthropmen took to the scoreboard early in the game with only a minute of play and clever Jerry Bremner scores. Second by speedy Bruce Pearn and third goal by stepper Dan McNichol. What a quick wrist pass from Dwayne Pryce. The Riders' lone goal was scored by sly Darrel Eckert as he drills the ball directly into the opposing goalies' ball glove who can't stop the force of gravity from the power of the hit ball and the ball falls into the net what a shot on 'net'. Not a bad game, fellows. In Ladies Broomball on Novem- ber 30, 1994 at 9 p.m. - Parr Line vs Winthrop; 9:50 p.m. - Winthrop men vs Parr Line men; and at 10:40 - Perth vs Socialites. MEN'S BROOMBALL November 24, 1994 GRADS 2 - PARR LiNE 2 Parr Line start the goal scoring with Grant Gcrgsma and defenceman Steve Gibbings pop- ping in two quick goals. The Grads are tired of no goals on the score board so Mac O'Nicll and Mike Van Den Hcuvcl do something about it to tic the game up. Keen passes from Tony Van Den tleuvel, Jerry Burtch and Craig Smith. But the game was left a tic even after two-minutas overtime. DUMPERS 10 - RUSTLERS 0 Rustlers had the potential on trying to score goals but came up empty-handed every time. The Dumpers goalie cleaned up his act from last week with an awesome shut out (Wow! you were lucky this week, Mr. C.Y.) You better keep up the good work or F.V. may have to replace you, as he seems to be always in your road in front of you. Goals scored by Dumpers were Ron Pryce, Dale Kennedy, Frank V., Don H., Dennis M., Brett Finlayson, Jerry Wright, and new comer Kevin Cardno better known as 'Chop'. Welcome back, 'Chop'. Great passes by Gary Dill. KNIGHTS 1 - ROYALS 0 The Royals' goalie was 'hot' tonight as he made saves Icft and right, he was up and down and side to side unfortunately a squcakcr goal passed by his eye. Great game Rob Dearing. The Knights single goal was scored by Paul Nyenhuis and an excellent pass from his baby brother Jim.- --- in Men's Broomball on December 1 at 9 p.m. - Easy Riders vs Dumpers; 9:50 p.m. - Orads vs Knights; and at 10:40 p.m. - Rust- lers vs Raiders. 1 1
