served in nine different countries in
the Central Mediterranean area, the
United Kingdom and Continental
EuroHr medals are the 1939-'45 Star,
Italy Star, France and Germany
Star, Defence Medal and C.V.S.M.
with clasp.
He served from March of 1942
until the end of the war with the 1st
Canadian Survey Regiment. He
received malaria twice during his
war service.
He was raised on Lot 24, Conces-
sion 5 in Hibbert Township where
he later farmed.
