Wannabees
close in on Buds
There were a few people who
had some problems bowling on
Oct. 27 at the Starlight Lanes
for the Thursday Nighters. May-
be they had a tough day at
work, or maybe it was some-
thing completely different. We
may never know, will we, Deb
and Gary? They ended up with
scores of 97 and 93. We'll let
you guess who had which! Not
everybody bowled as wonderful-
ly as that though, thank good-
ness.
Murray's Marauders managed
to take two games and total pins
from the top team The Buds.
Murray Bennewies'
242,328,294-864 and Todd
Doig's 203 and 244 helped the
team out. Jason Cooper of The
Buds had a great game of 199.
The second match -up of the
night was between the
Wannabees and the Falling Pins.
It was very close with the
Wannabees taking four points
and the Falling Pins managing
to get 3. The Wannabees' top
bowlers were Steve Steep, 237
and Tracy Klaver, 196-497. The
Falling Pins got good bowling
from Doug Procter 203.
The Boozin' Brewers swept
the Wolverines on lanes five
and six. Leading the way for the
Brewers were Doug Leonhardt
239,373,214-826 and Trevor
Price 222,227-622. Mike
Thomson's 196 and Jason
Wheatley's 165 were the best
that the Wolverines could do.
Team standings: The Buds -
23; Wannabees - 21; Molverines
- 19; Murray's Marauders - 17;
Boozin Brewers - 16; Falling
Pins - 9.
