As one of the principals of
Sills Home Hardware he has
more than 30 years experience in
the electrical, plumbing and
hardware business locally. He
has also been a fireman for the
past 28 years, and is a past
president of the Huron Electrical
League, a former member of the
executive of Seaforth's junior
hockey team and is a former
Chairman of the Mausoleum
Board.
Mr. Sills says he ran again to
provide a continued common
sense approach to PUC business.
He is married to Anne and has
four children: Tracey, Ted,
Donald and Tim. They live on
Main St. North.
Pellets hit car
in Bayfield
A ► car was damaged by what
appears to be pellets while it was
parked in the Village of Bayfield.
This was reported on Sept. 24 and
investigation showed pellet marks
near a window on the .passenger's
side of the car. This case took place
on Tuyll Street in Bayfield and
similar damage occurred about three
months ago as, well.

4-H woodworkers learn skills

On October 13, the St. Columban
4-H 'Woodworking Club' held its
first meeting in the St. Columban
Church hall.
The meeting opened with the 4-H
pledge, followed by Diane Elston
welcoming everyone and
introducing the leaders. Election
results are as follows: President,
Julianne Ryan; Vice President,
Debbie Van Bakel, Secretary, Darcy
Flanagan and Press Reporter, Brad
Murray. The members broke into
three groups. Wood working is led
by Sharon Murray and Anne
Murray. The group was told to have
a name and title page for their club
by the next meeting. Anne told club
members about safety with wood
and working with a buddy on a
project.
