- To provide coordination and supervision to the crisis counselling team.
- To plan and participate in the delivery of service to residential clients.
- To plan and coordinate Individual client programming by providing short-term
counselling and advocacy to women who have experienced abuse in their
lives.
- To be available for on call duty
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Social Sciences Bachelor Degree and appropriate combination of
training and experience, Including skills in individual and group counselling, and
advocacy, and proven supervisory and co-ordination skills. (Compatible experience
in victim services may be considered equivalent).
Ability to perform within a woman -centred organization which bases Its services
on a feminist analysis of woman abuse.

ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
The Chief Building Official/By-law Enforcement Officer will be responsible for the
issuance of permits in accordance with the Building Code and Plumbing Code;
the performance of inspections as required by the Building Code and the mainte-
nance of proper records relating to the building function.
The incumbent will also be responsible for interpreting the provisions of the
Zoning By-law as it applies to the use and occupancy of buildings and lands and
to enforce all applicable by-laws of the Corporation.
Qualifications:
- extensive knowledge of Ontario Building Code, Plumbing Code, construction
practices and land use and zoning/planning regulations;
- training and experience with the Ontario Building Code, Planning Act and
Zoning Requirements;
• strong interpersonal and communication skills and self motivated individual;
- ability to interpret and administer by-laws and regulations;
Remuneration will be in accordance with qualifications and experience. Qualified
