Soccer and
ball house
leagues start
The Seaforth Minor Ball house
league will begin on Monday,
June 6, and the house league
soccer will begin on Wednesday,
June 8. For more information
please call the Recreation Office
at 527-0882.
Senior Shuffleboard, which
continues every Wednesday
afternoon from 1:30 to 4:00
p.m.. had the following winners

The Seaforth Lions Pool will
be accepting swimming lesson
registration on Saturday, June 4
and Saturday, June 11 from
10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., both
days at the Lions Park Pavilion.
Their will be limits on all
classes, so be sure to register
during these two days. No early
registrations, as well as no phone
registrations will be taken. The
sessions will be as follows; July
4 - July 22,
July 25 - A gust 12 and -
August 15 - Sept. 2.
The Happy Citizens Club will
be hosting its final meeting until
September. This meeting will be
a_pct Inck dinner at -the Seaforth
tegibn at 12:00 noon. After the
dinner and auction sale and
euchre will be held.

On Sunday, May 22, Karrie
Consitt, Gordon Hamilton, Tara
Ingram, Carol Martin, Dennis
Noakes and Jeff Rathwell were
welcomed into full membership of
the Hensall United Church. The
ushers for the day were Dan Crerar
and Daryl Preszcator.
Rev. Henry Annen's message was
'Sleeping Through a Tornado.'
Marg Cole was the greeter for the
morning service.
Hazel Corbett, Shirley McAllister
and Pastor Henry Annen repre-
sented the church at the London
Conference annual meeting. This
past Sunday at Hensall United
Church, Curtis Lance and Deborah
Anne, children of Gordon Hamilton
and Tracey McIntosh were baptized
by Rev. Annen. The greeter for the
day was Pam Mallette while Grant
St. John and Dennis Martin were
.the ushers.
Ron Latham presented the slate of
officers for the 1994/95 year. Presi-
dent-elect Paul Carroll presided for
a short business session. Lunch was
served by the Carmel P.C.W.
Janet Mowat, daughter of Inge
Mowatt of Hensall, is at university
in the south of France, Janet, a
graduate of South Huron District
High School, is completing her
honours degree in French from the
University of Western Ontario.
Janet visited Monte Carlo and
photographed preparations for the
annual Grand Prix, and has numer-
ous side trips planned during her
six-week stay. On her return to
Canada in mid-June, she will be
heading north to Sundridge, Ontario
to assume her summer duties in the
office of Glen Bernard Camp.
The sympathy of the community
is extended to the McKnight and
Stoneman families.
