Celebrant was Reverend Joseph F. Hardy. Raymond is the son of Ray and Leona Anstett, of Seaforth and Theresa is the daughter of Garry and Josephine Van Loon, of RR 2 Dublin. Maid of Honour was Debbie Van Loon, sister of the bride. Brides- maids were Anita Looby, friend of the bride; Judy Brand, sister of the groom; Jan Van Loon, sister of the bride and Lori Lynn Stapleton, friend of the bride. Flower girl was Michelle Van Loon, cousin of the bride. Best man was Doug Anstett, brother of the groom. Ushers were Jeff Van Loon, brother of the bride; Dale McCarthy, friend of the groom; Sheldon Stewardson, friend of the groom; Gary Love, brother- in-law of the groom. Ring bearer was Nicholas Visscher, nephew of the groom. Readers were Jan O'Rourke, Michele Vandervliet and Sandra Van Loon. Soloist was Casey Van Bakel and organist was Jayne Walsh. Altar servers were Shawn Van Loon and Greg Van Loon. Gift bearers were the godparents of the bride and groom. Bulletins by Pam Love, Lindsay Love and Stephanie Visscher. Senior Shuffleboard continues every Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. All seniors are welcome to enjoy an afternoon of fun and fellowship. The Seaforth Lions Pool will be accepting swimming lesson registration on Saturday, June 4 and Saturday, June 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. both days at the Lions Park Pavilion. There will be limits on all classes, so be sure to register during these two days. The Seaforth Recreation Department will host a sign language program beginning June 6 from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m., each Monday evening for 10 weeks. Line dancing for the older adults will begin on Tuesday, May 24 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the arena. • McPherson 40th Anniversary The family of Hugh and Bernice McPherson, invite all of their friends, neighbours and relatives to a reception being held at the Seaforth Community Centre on Saturday, May 28", 1994 at 9 p.m. in honour of their 40th Wedding Anniversary. � Dublin by Dorothy Dillon 345-2883 a war hero in 1945 where he received a Military Medal. _J,ohq_; will be greatly missed by-. us all! (Dorothy Dillon taught some of his family at St. James, Seaforth, and expresses heartfelt sympathy to them all!) Another prominent Seaforth man passed away recently. D'Orlean Sills was one of Seaforth's best- known business men. D'Orlean was a former fire chief, co-owner of Sills Hardware, a valued Legion member, and a Commissioner of Seaforth Public Utilities. D'Orlean was a Seaforth Highlanders Band member and a very good athlete who won the Senior Boys Huron County Championship. Sympathy is extended to his family, his sister (Mona Enzensberger) and Henry) and his brother (Frank Sills) and his sister-in-law (Nora Sills). All his friends express sincere sympathy to all his relatives and friends! The Carry on Cloggers and Preszcator Step Dancers presented "Carry on Country" at Blyth Festi- val Theatre last Sunday to a large and thrilled crowd! Besides being an enjoyable program it was for a good cause with proceeds going to Huron Special Olympics, Family Literary Festival, and Clinton Public Hospital. I (Dorothy) enjoyed attending and seeing a great pro- gram, with a special friend (Rhonda Bruxer) taking part. Group members had to walk around or jog on the spot with crackers in their mouths. Julianne Ryan opened the meeting with the 4-H pledge. Mary Ryan asked members what their favourite sports were. Club members then voted on a front page which was drawn by Denise Meagher. The group started line dancing afterwards. They learned the Bus Stop to 'Baby's Got Her Blue Jeans On' and reviewed all of the four line dances they had learned. Trisha Jansen adjourned the meeting and Tracy Van Bakel seconded it.
