Though tears in our eyes do not glisten, And our faces are not always sad, There is never a night or morning That we don't think of those we had. Not a day do we forget you, In our hearts you are always here, For we love you and miss you. As it ends another year. Greatly missed by your family. 46-20x 1c MILLER: In loving memory of Ken who passed away one year ago, May 15, 1993. He had a nature you could not help loving, And a heart that was purer than gold, And to those who knew him and loved him, • His memory will never grow cold. Lovingly remembered and missed by Donna May and Tom. 46-20x1 ,r TEATERO, Leo James. Died May 20th, 1993. In memory of my husband and best friend. Oh, the comfort, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person. Having neither to weigh thoughts, nor measure words, But to pour them all out, just as they are. Chaff and grain together, Knowing that a faithful hand will take and sift them, Keep what is worth keeping and then, with the breath of kindness blow the rest away. Always remembered, to my Leo. - Franoes Rose 46-20x1 TEATERO: In loving memory of our dad, Leo Teatero, who passed away May 20, 1993. May comes as a sad regret, The month, the day, we will never forget, We are thinking of you today, Dad, But that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday, And the day before that too. The tears in our eyes we can wipe away, But the ache in our hearts will always stay. You've left a place no one can fill, We mise you Dad, and always will. Forever loved and greatly missed by Larry and Denise, Len and Donna, Leo and Lorne. 46-20-1 38. Mrs. Bennett and Grade One: Our community helps us to learn. Dur- ing Education week, the children from grade 1 walked to McGavin's Farm Equipment Ltd. to learn how simple machines (wheels, axles, gears, ulleys, levers, ramps and wedges) are used in farm machin- ery. Neil Williamson, Ken Pethick, Jeff and Briaq McGavin shared their expertise with the children. They demonstrated the movement of simple machines within larger pieces of equipment and talked to the children about how they help. The children were particularly impressed with the operation of a large baler, the tour of the yard in the cab of a big tractor and the operation of the hydraulic ramp on McGavin's truck. With the help of parent volunteers Ken Dalton, Kathy McNichol, Linda DeWit, and Stan Gowan the children are begin- ning to realize that technology is all around us.
