Drama enthusiast Sharon Kelly has filled the theatrical void over the last few weeks as she has taught 20 area children about mime, costumes, make-up, lights, sound effects and chor- eography. "Seaforth hasn't really had any big opportunities for this," said Sharon, who will be studying dramatic arts next year at the University of Waterloo. "I think it's a good confidence builder and a whole lot of fun." The dynamic theatre buff said there are a lot of negative things in the world and she wanted to create something positive. She created 'Dramatic Impact,' a four-week drama course with an upbeat message. The children are surrounded with positive energy during the course. The walls of the Seaforth agricultural buildings were adorned with signs proclaiming, 'Live life to the fullest' and 'If you act enthusiastic you will be enthusiastic.' During the four-week program children get on stage and are put on the spot. The St. Michael's Secondary School student, who is Seaforth's Fair Ambassador, started and ran the course by herself. She is even contemplat- ing running the course again THE HURON EXPOSITOR, May 11, 1994-5 The Owners of Seaforth Medical Clinic Dr. Al Haines Dr. Heather Percival Dr. Ed Malkus Dr. Ken Rodney Dr. Mark Woldnik Regret to announce that Dr. Carolin Shepherd will no longer be practising with the Seaforth Medical Clinic, effective June 1, 1994.
