Volunteers were thanked by Kittie MacGregor, president of the Huron Chapter of the Heart and Stroke Foundation. She presented service pins and certificates of appreciation to volunteers, businesses and the media. Greg Williams was pres- ented with the Outstanding Service Volunteer Award. The crowd delighted to an ener- getic performance by the Huron Heartbeats of Exeter, a team of acrobatic rope -skippers. The crowd was also treated to a short instruction on CPR by Val Poisson, an RNA at Seaforth Com- munity Hospital.
