Town, hockey
school to share
profits, loss
A motion was pasted at the
March meeting of the Seaforth
and District Community Centres
Management Committee to con-
tinue with the operation of the
Dave McElwain CCM Hockey
School at the Seaforth arena.
An amendment has been made
to the original agreement stating
now that both'the profits and the
losses of the hockey school be
shared equally by Dave
McElwain, Graham Nesbitt and
the Seaforth add District Com-
munity Centres Board.
Last year; the Arena Board had
agreed to share in the profits of
the hockey school but not in the
losses. Arena manager Graham
Nesbitt noted that because of the
uncertainty of the Arena Board's
position regarding operating the
school under their name in 1994,
the school has been advertised as
The Dave McElwain CCM
Hockey School with no mention
of the Seaforth and District
Community Centres, according
to the March minutes of the
Arena Board.
