LIONS
PARK
AND
POOL
Seaforth and area is very
fortunate to have such a beautiful
facility for their summer outdoor
fun. The Lions Park and Pool
features an outdoor swimming
pool, outdoor wading pool (not
supervised), a fully lit, fenced -in
ball diamond, up-to-date
playground equipment and a
pavilion used for family picnics and
reunions.
Pool... The swimming pool will
open in late June, please watch
the Huron Expositor for special
swim times. Regular swimming
times throughout the summer will
be:
Monday -Friday
.Public Swimming
1:30-4 and 6:30-8:30
Monday -Friday.
Adult Swimming
12 noon - 1:15 p.m.
Monday -Friday
Family Swimming
5:00 - 6:30 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday
Public Swimming
1-4:30 p.m. & 6-8:30 p.m.
Special Programs at the Pool will
be Swim Team, Business Swim
and Aqua Fitness.

Ball... The ball diamond has action
nearly every night of the week
which usually includes:
Sunday 8 p.m. Men's Slow -pitch
Wednesday 7:30 p.m. - Men's
Fastball
Monday 6:30 p.m. - Minor Ball -
Thursday 6:30 p.m. - Minor Ball
8.p.m. - Men's Slo-pitch
9 p.m. - Wildcats Slo-pitch
Tuesday 6:45 p.m.
Ladies Recreational Softball
Friday, 6:30 p.m. - Minor Ball
Events and Times may change
All teams are asked to book the
ball diamond for practises and

Picnics... The Lions Park is a very
picturesque facility with a pavilion
for Family Picnics. Reunions, Staff
Parties, or even Weddings.
Individuals are welcome to use the
Park and Picnic facilities at any
time with no formal charges. For
groups or families wishing to rent
tables under the pavilion the prices
are $20.00 which includes set up,
clean up, water, hydro and two
tables. Extra tables can be
purchased at a cost of $8.00 per
table. For reservations please
contact the Recreation and Parks
Department at 527-0882.

OPTIMIST PARK
The Optimist Park which is
located at the south end of
Seaforth on Main Street is another
top quality facility for families to
take advantage of. The Optimist
Park includes a newly renovated
Ball Diamond with lights and
fencing, a youth sized soccer field,
playground equipment for the
children while Mom or Dad
participate in a ball game and a
small banquet hall available for
receptions, parties or meetings.
This ball diamond also has action
nearly every night which is:
