WINNING WAYS IN SEAFORTH - While the Junior club was
winning the Seaforth Midgets did the same, up two -games against
Exeter in their best -of -five series. -
C4th leads Exeter 2-0
After two games in the OMHA
semi-frnais the Seaforth Midgets are
a game away from moving on.
Thanks to a tough defence, stellar
goaltending and a strong offence
Seaforth has won both games so far
in a best -of -five series with rival
Exeter.
Seaforth won its first game last
Wednesday night, March 9, 5-2.
Seaforth entered the second period
down by one but defenceman Jeff
Flanagan scored for Seaforth on a
Shaun Anstett rebound.
The Exeter goaltender took a
penalty on the play which gave
Seaforth the powerplay, allowing
Jason Murray to score. Seven sec-
onds later Exeter tied the score.
Steve Mclnally recaptured the
lead for Seaforth with the assistance
of Wayne Schoonderwoerd. Jason
Smith added another on a Dean

third period Shaun Anstett capped
off the 5-2 victory with a goal.
On Saturday night the Seaforth
Midgets hosted Exeter and pro-
ceeded to win.
Steve Mclnally scored two,
including the winner. Exeter got
onto the scoreboard in the third
period but it was too little, too late.
Jason Murray added an empty -net
goal and Adam Agar made some
amazing saves to cement the win.

Wednesday night with a chance to
end the series and move on to the
