Dearly beloved husband of Alice (Barber) Ball. Dear brother of Margaret Carhart of Timmins, Ruth McKinnon and Clara Mccaulay both of Clinton. Predeceased by two brothers Douglas Ball and William Ball. Friends were received at the Beattie -Falconer Funeral Homes, 153 High Street, Clinton, on Tuesday, February 1. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 2 (today) at 11 a.m. Cremation- with interment of remains in Ball's Cemetery, Hulled Township. A memorial service was held by the Clinton Lodge A.F. & A.M. #84 on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. MELANIE BRAECKER Mrs. Melanie Braecker, a resident of the Ritz Lutheran Villa, RR 5 Mitchell and formerly of McKillop Township passed away at her resi- dence on Sunday, January 30, 1994 in her 94th year. She was the for- mer Melanie Olga Boesch and was born in Switzerland on October 12, 1900, a daughter of the late Earnst Boesch and the former Vrena Mettler. In April 1930, she was married to Johann Jacob Braecker who predeceased her on September 14, 1977. The couple came to Canada from Switzerland on May 24, 1950 and farmed at Lot 6, Concession 12 of McKillop Town- ship. Mrs. Braecker had resided at the Ritz Lutheran Villa since 1984. She was a member of SL Peters Lutheran Church, Brodhagen. She is survived by a son Bruno Braecker and his wife Joyce of RR 4 Walton, two daughters Melanie Blochlinger and her husband Paul of Toronto, and Alice B. Penner "-and her husband Rudolph of Washington, D.C., six grandchildren and one great grandson. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been predeceased by six brothers and sisters. Friends were received at the Lockhart Funeral Home in Mitchell on Tuesday, February 1, 1994. The funeral service will by held at St. Peters Lutheran Church, Brodhagen on Wednesday, February 2 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bob Book officiat- ing. Spring intermerf'will be in St. Peters cemetery. Memorial dona- tions to Mitchell Mobility Bus Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. CLETA DICKSON Miss Cleta Lily Dickson, of Seaforth, died at Stratford General Hospital on Friday, January 21, 1994 at the age of 72. The former store owner was bom in McKillop Township on October 15, 1921 to George and Lily Edna " Dickson. She is survived by ten nieces and neph¢ws: Betty Bradshaw, H. Murray Langford, Pat Clare, Gordon M. Langford; all of Lon- don, John D. Langford, Frances Chapman of Bayfield, George D. Langford. of MQsslcy, W. Larry Langford of Mt. $Brydges, Paul 13. Langford of Toronto and :Wendy Johnston of Wawa. She was predeceased by her par- ents and her only sister, Mary Edna Langford. Friends were received at the Box and Smith Funeral Chapel on Mon- day, January 24 where the funeral service was held on Tuesday, Jan- uary 25. The complete committal service was held at the funeral home. Rev. Cheryl Ann Stadelbauer Sampa of Egmondville United Church conducted the service. Inter- ment at Brussels Cemetery. As a living tribute to the memory of Miss Dickson a tree will be planted in her memory. JOHN PRICE John A. Price, of Seaforth, died Tuesday, January 25 at the Seaforth Community Hospital in his 67th year. Born at Saint John, N.B. April 15, 1927, he was a son of the late Dewey Price and the former Laura Ryder. He had been a building contractor in Seafoih. Surviving are his`+ife, the ormer Ann Cusack; sons, Miles andKeith, both of Seaforth, and Brian and wife Marlene, of Mitchell; granchildren, Kevin, Amy and Shawn; sisters, Lola Elliott of New Brunswick and Hazel and her husband Basil Chase, of London; and a brother, Albert and wife Betty, of Calgary, Alta." He was predeceased by a sister, Audrey Corey, and a brother Wallace. He was the brother-in-law of Inez ' Cusack and the late Donald Cusack of St. John's; Velma and the late Clayton Cusack of Havlock; Phyllis and the late Joe Cusack of Seafor(h; the late Robert Cusack; Ernest and the late Theresa Cusack of Fredericton; Hamilton and Eleanor Cusack of Majorville; Marie and the late Walter Sherwood; and Jean and Lionel Carter of Elgin. Friends were received at the Whitney-Ribey Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W. Seaforth, Wednesday, January 26, 1994 where the funeral service was held Thursday, January 27. Rev. Gordon Redden officiated. Burial in Egmondville Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. SHELAGH MUNROE Shelagh Anne Munroe died peacefully on December 27, 1993, in her 55th year. Loving daughter of Margaret Tibbett and the late Milton Tibbeu. Beloved wife of Mac Munroe. Dear mother of Chris, Rick, and daughter-in-law Mary. Sadly missed by many family members and friends. A memorial service for Mrs. Munroe was held at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, Whitby on Thursday, December 30, 1993. Interment of ashes in Huntsville, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, O.G.H. Palliative Care, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the. family. VICTOR M. MARTIN Mr. Victor M. Martin died at the C.C.R.U. of Stratford General Hos- pital on Tuesday, January 25, 1994 in his 72nd years He was born in Windsor on May 24, 1922 and was a son of the late Joseph and Julia Martin. He had worked on Great Lakes freighters for a number of years. He was a member of King- dom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Mitchell. He is survived by his wife Donalda Martin, a resident of Ritz Manor Apts., RR 5 Mitchell, one daughter Anna Carol Prest of Mitchell and by four grandchildren Barry Prest of Seaforth, Julia Hamel and her husband Darrell of London and Darren and Tyler Prest, both of Mitchell. A memorial service was held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Mitchell on Saturday, January 29, 1994 with Harold Bauer officiating. The Lockhart Funeral Home in Mitchell assisted with funeral arrangements.
