President Kathy Man opened the meeting with a New Year poem. The business portion of the meeting then com- menced as Secretary Diane Gerstenkorm read the minutes of the last meeting, which/were passed as read. The executive had several import- ant subjects to discuss with the members. A motion was passed to raise the membership in 1995 from $2 to $3. The society is also planning to participate in the Minor Hockey Craft Show in November. The guest speaker for the evening was Sheila Reaburn. Sheila demon- strated how to create decorative "roses"using dried.apple slices, hich are then used in crafts and bouquets. Reabum generously donated her creations to the draws.
