There is only a matter of
days left to register a team in
the Inaugural Kinsmen Sunr-
merfest slo-pitch
tournament.
The Co -Ed ball tourna-
ment, organized by 'Trevor
Bazinet, will take place on
July 13, 14 and 15 at the Ag
Park and GDCi ball
diamonds.
So far the tournament has
nine teams registered to play

Maitland Men's Golf League
Maitland Monday Night
Men's League:
Humid weather and

of the day included Bill
Tideswell (35), Mike Dern-
chuk (35), Bill Vanstone
(35.5), Tom Fincher (35.5),
Gary Johnston (36), Dennis
Schultz (36) and Jeff Sow-
erby (37). Great golfing,
guys.
Maitland Senior Men's
Golf League:
League play continued
in the Maitland Senior
Men's Golf league with 50
men corning out under
threatening skies.
There are many tight
races in the season stand-
ings, which are based on
net scores, in the league's
six flights.
In 'A' Flight Chris Con-
nor's 36 was the best score
of the day but Mike Dem-
chuk had a net of 34.4 to
take over the flight lead
from Joe George.
Bob Corrigan was the
days best in 'B' Flight with
a score of 41, net 32, to
move into second place
just behind Dave Vander -
water in the flight
standings.
Marc Monforton shot a
flight best of 48 in 'C'
Flight to hold onto his
lead in the standings but
Brian Good's net of 36.7
was best allowing him to
move closer to Monfor-
ton's lead.
In 'D' Flight Bet Dirven
shot 47, Harold [.eddy's 37
was the low net but Bill
'framer still holds onto the
lead for the year.
Rob Bush continues to
dominate `E' Flight, his 52,
net 38.7 won the group this
week and allowed him to
extend his lead in the sea-
son standings.
Jerry Parsons scored a
flight best 54 in `F' Flight
but was tied for low net
at 37.5 by Bob Harris.
Those points were
enough to allow Harris
to move past Al Dekker
into for place in the sea-
son standings.
