The theme of the annual Multicultural Festival was to `Celebrate Canada's Colours', as
Canada's 150 celebrations.
The Multicultural Festival celebrated Canada's diversity. The eight hour event included live entertainment
and foods from around the world as well as a licensed beer garden.
The Festival included a variance of stage performances and live music for eight hours,
including First Nation dancers and drummers, Metis fiddling, demonstrations of Syrian
and Filipino folk dance, Goderich's pipe and drum band, Celtic Blue Highlanders, Morris
and Scottish Highland dancers and a festival favourite Bollywood and Bhangra dancing.
Those who attended had the option to purchase foods from around the world in the international
marketplace, including Indian, Laotian, Mexican, Japanese, Indonesian, Ethiopian, Turkish and Thai.
