"The fact that it's Canada's 150th, a lot of people will be looking to get out and do things this summer, and on July 30 we are doing an event called 'Tri,' says Pate. "That afternoon we are also aiming to do the world's larg- est SUP Yoga session. We have partnered with Yoga Den in Goderich and 360 Boards and Bikes for the event:' This summer, Windmill Lake will also offer three weeks of camp, looking to build off this years' success and expand to eight weeks of summer camp next year. The summer camps will have a focus of sport and art, where paddle_ boarding and other activities will take part in the mornings and participants will then create art based on the morning activities. Windmill Lake will also play host to an annual wake boarding competition called "Rule the Pool'; and this year the competition will be expanded into a three-day mini -festival for the August long weekend. The "Rule the Pool" com- petition attracts professional wake boarders and more advanced riders, with a top prize of $2, 000 USD. The three-day mini -festi- val titled "Wind and Waves" will be an outdoor, eco -festi- val that will include yoga, paddle boarding, nature walks, an opportunity to explore the full-scale Dutch Windmill on the property, a various local vendors market and live music on the Sun- day evening. "We want to show people what is right in their back- yards. It will be a really unique, affordable, and fun three-day mini eco -festival," Pate explains. "We are trying to get peo- ple outside, and it's all about understanding our impacts on the environment." Day passes for the "Wind and Waves" eco -festival will cost $10 per person for the Saturday and Monday with additional costs for taking part in an activity at Wind- mill Lake. Sunday of the August long - weekend entrance fees will be $20 per person, as that day in the mini -festival weekend will include live music. A weekend pass will be looking at $30 per person.
