The first image shows a distorted image
of Goderich'I'own Hall as it is reflected in
the curved glass of the building across the
street at 64 West St.
It was taken 17 August 2011 and four
days later the tornado destroyed 64 West
St., although the curved glass survived.
The Town Hall had only minor damage.

The building exhibited some
characteristics of the Art Moderne
architectural style, such as curved glass.
This style was used most frequently
from the 1930s to 1950s but is uncommon
in Goderich.
The curved glass of 64 West Street was the only surviving piece of the original building
after the tornado.
