We are seeking 5 highly motivated individuals to join our team as
PSWs for our Adult Day Programs and Overnight Respite on a 6 •
month contract for the Clinton, Goderich and Wingham sites.
The PSW assists clients with activities of daily living that the client is unable to
perform unassisted. Under the direction of their ONE CARE Supervisor, the
PSW will perform duties as outlined in the service plan for the client(s). The
duties vary according to the individual clients and families receiving service.
The PSW must work within a goal -directed, outcome based and Client Driven
Care philosophy.
Qualifications
• Current PSW Certificate, or comparable education, e.g. RPN.
• Current Emergency First Aid and CPR level C.
• Demonstrated problem solving, ability to assess situations, set priorities
and decision making skills.
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to be adaptable, build relation- -
ships, focus on clients needs and communicate effectively at all levels of
the Agency and community.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license, insurance and use of vehicle.

- to play weekly 9:30-10:30 a.m. Christ Church, London
Road, Port Albert (15 minutes north of Goderich, .5 km

Instrument is a pre-programmed Roland FP — 45
Keyboard with volume pedal being the only pedal. Play
hymns from Common Praise 1998 or similar hymns.
Resources available to assist hymn selection as well
as ongoing consultation with the Parish Priest. We do
not have a Choir currently therefore choir practice is not
an expectation.

Crossing Guard
To provide safety for elementary school age children crossing major intersections when going to and from school.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, decision making and judgement skills:
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures for children as required through prior on-the-job training.
• Work.. iS performed independently under the general supervision of Traffic Guard Supervisor and the advice .of
the Police Service.
• Determining the appropriate timing for children crossing intersections.
• Proper use of equipment in performing duties.
• Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with school aged children
• Required to be on patrol regardless of weather conditions and may be exposed to adverse weather conditions
and physical hazards.
Rate of pay for this position is $13.96 to $ I6.64/hour. The Town of Goderich offers a productive team environment
for personal growth and success. This position is for approximately 12-15 hours per week, Monday through Friday,
except statutory holidays, September to June.
