Once everyone arrived, we went outside to play a game and role call with a beach ball with questions on it like "how many 4-h clubs have you done?" and "what is your favourite animal?" When we went back inside we introduced ourselves and said what clubs we are in. We then had elections, and our new president is Brook- lyn Hendriks, our vice presi- dent is: Megan Metske, our press reporter and secretary positions will rotate for each meeting. Our treasurer is Austin Rieman. Our Attendance Recorder is Alycia Coultes. Our cover designer is Emily Bieman, Our Youth leaders are Brooklyn Hendriks, and Drew Terpstra. Our leaders include Jolande Oudshoorn, Marita Oudshoorn, Ursina Studhal- ter, Monique Baan, Reg Vin- nicombe, and Don Dodds. M•r.. Don Dodds then described some of the past plowing matches that were held in our area. Ile had a lot of stories such as Wingham's IPM (1978) was known as the "Money match, Port Albert (1946) was known as "the Victory Match" and of course Seaford' (1966) was known as "the. Mud Match" and Dashwood (1999) was known as "the Dust Match". He had a lot of interesting stories and had some cool memories of past matches. Our club is organizing a tent display at the IPM 2017 in Walton! Our plan is to fill. the tent with lots of games and information about 4-H and agriculture. 'the club name will be the 4-H IPM County Plowers. And for our final project, we can either do the Auction- eers' Challenge, or the 4-H Beautification Contest, or Brussels Fall Fair. We then had watermelon and juice as our snack. We are encouraged to sell bows for the IPM to fund - raise for us to get matching shirts to wear when we work at our display at the plowing match. Contributed photo The 4-H Club will design and run a five-day tent display at the International Plowing Match, showcasing 4-H and agriculture. Campfires. Confidence.
