Goderich Shuffle Board The Goderich Shuffleboard Club began the new 2017 season on Tues- dayMay9. We had a good turn out with 51 people signing up for the league for the year. Among those present were quite a few returning members and several new members. New members are welcome at anytime. They will be given a small beginners lesson to get them up to speed. Anyone can join, as it is not restricted to sen- iors. Everyone is welcome. There is a small yearly fee, which also entitles the member to our ban- quet at the end of the year. We also have special days during the summer where we have treats or ice cream. The league starts at 1:30 pm on Tuesdays and we play 3 games and it usually lasts 2 hours or so. This week we had two people who won all three games. They were Ger- rit Dykman and Gary Sorko. They are off to a good start for the new season. Come join the fun and see you on the courts.
