weekend.
The Show held at the Memorial
Arena, hosted several local busi-
nesses and was entry by any
amount of donation at the door.
The funds raised by donations at
the door went directly to the Chari-
table Fund, whose mission is to
provide relief to the sick by granting
a wish to children or parents with a
life threatening illness and their
families.
"We have done everything from
monetary funds to equipment in
a home such as a lit for a house to
become accessible," explained
Erin Wilson, Coldwell Banker
Sales Representative and Charita-
ble Fund Committee Board
Member.
"The sky is the limit and people
can come to us and make a
request, and our board will vote
on it.."
In addition to the local busi-
nesses showcasing their products
at each of their booths, the Home
and Cottage Show also offered a
BBQ for those in attendance.
The proceeds from the BBQ
went directly to the Super Bath-
room Reno for the McDonald
Family. Jeremy and Lesley have
11 -year-old twin boys, Tyler and
Brandon who suffer with the
mobility challenges of Cerebral
Palsy and require a more acces-
sibly bathroom in their home.
"We are so grateful for these
businesses involved. They came
to us and wanted to help with the
McDonald renovation campaign.
That's small town for you," said
Wilson.

The McDonald family came to support the Goderich Home and Cottage Show last
weekend, which is raising funds for a massive renovation on the bathroom in their
home, to allow for more accessibility.
Those in attendance wandered through Memorial Arena to see the booths set up by
businesses. Half were local businesses and the others from out of town.
