LAWN WATERING REGULATION
COMMENCING MAY 15th
BY-LAW # 38 OF 2001
The following lawn watering regulation will be in effect from
May 15 to August 31:
Those properties having municipal addresses which are
even numbers in said months of May, June, July and August of
any year shall be permitted to water on even numbered calendar
days, but only during the hours of 7:(X) a.m. to 9:00 a.m. local
time and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time.
Those properties having municipal' addresses which are
odd numbers in said months of May, June, July and August of
any year shall be permitted to water on odd numbered calendar
days, but only during the hours of 7:(0 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. local
time and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time.
Automatic watering systems
Municipal addresses which are even numbers that have.
automatic watering systems shall be permitted to water on even
numbered calendar days, but only during the hours of 2:30 a.m.
to 6:00 a.m., local time.
Municipal addresses, which are odd numbers that have
automatic watering systems shall be permitted to water on odd
numbered calendar days, but only during the hours of 2:30 a.m.
to 6:00 a.m., local time.
Use of water from the Municipal water system, for all otherwise
lawful purposes, i.e. new sod, shall be approved by way of a
special permit obtained from the Town of Goderich.
Please note set fine is $75.00 (plus costs) for watering infraction.

Court
date for
speeder
(SOUTH HURON, ON) - A male
driver from the Mitchell area has been
charged with Racing following a traffic
stop that took place this afternoon in
the village of Woodham.
At approximately 3:35 p.m. a Huron
County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP)
officer observed a Chevrolet Cruze
travelling southbound on Road 164
(1 iighway 23) into Woodham at a high
rate of speed.
The officer confirmed his visual
observations with a RADAR device and
was able to obtain a speed measure-
ment of the racing vehicle at a speed in
excess of 60km/h over the posted 60
km/h zone.
A traffic stop was initiated and the
driver was subsequently charged.
A man of 24 years -of -age, from
Mitchell has been charged with "Race
a Motor Vehicle - Excessive Speed".
He now has a court appearance
scheduled for June 20, 2017 at the
Provincial Offences Act Court in
Goderich. Elis licence has been sus-
pended for seven days and his motor
vehicle will he impounded for the
week.
