HEART&" STROKE FOUNDATION Obituaries Obituaries LARRY OLIVER SIMPSON A CELEBRATION OF LIFE MAY 13, 2017 A great storyteller with a super sense of humour and especially remembered for his positive attitude. Originally from London, Ontario, in his 73rd year, his re- tirement years were spent in Bayfield, where he- enjoyed golf, boating, and playing poker. He was President of the Bayfield Lions Club and recognized with the "Melvin Jones Fellowship" award in 2014. Come share a Celebration of Larry's Life on Saturday May 13th from 2 to 5 pm at the Stanley Complex Centre, 38594 Mill Rd. Varna, ON. Take Hwy #4 N.; at Brucefield, turn left onto Mill Road (Bayfield); through Varna; 1 km. on right. Everyone is welcome to drop in and celebrate a life well lived. Come share a story. Obituaries Obituaries Obituaries ALMASI, Barbara - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Barbara Mae Almasi nee Brintnell on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, in her 81st year. Barb passed away in Goderich of an aortic aneurysm. Cherished wife and friend for 46 years of Alex Almasi, loving mother to David (Kendra) of Toronto and amazing grandmother to Matthew. Loving sister of Paul (Betty) Brintnell of Olds, Alberta. Missed by her many nieces, nephews and all family. Predeceased by her parents Clifford and Mae Brintnell and her brothers Don, Keith and Murray Brintnell. Barb had a huge and loving heart and she touched deeply her family, her friends and everyone who knew her. Barb's zest for life was unmatched. Living life whether it be with family, travelling with friends, bowling, Tai - Chi, the Lioness Club or cards with "the girls" was what made Barb happy and we are forever grateful for our time with her. She was much loved for her dedication to her family, her kindness and patience and her ever present sense of humour. Barb will forever be missed by . her family and friends. A private family graveside service will be held.
