Responsibilities include assisting with the day to day operation of the Aquatic Centre ensuring activities are regulatory compliant and meet YMCA standards. The incumbent will coordinate and deliver aquatic recreation programs for adults and children including swim lesson, adult group exercise classes and private lessons. The Coordinator will respond to questions from participants, monitor the activities of the Lifeguards, Swim Instructors and Volunteers and redirect to ensure safe and quality program delivery. The successful candidate will have a post -secondary education and related experience that includes a working knowledge of aquatic recreation programs, standards and legislation. Certification in NLS, Swim Instruction, the Y will train where necessary. Valid Certification in First Aid and CPR -C is required.
