In the quarter -final game they played Woodstock Wildcats a rival from their LLFHL West Division that they had trouble with all season. In this match up the Huron Heat girls made no mistake winning 3-0. With gold in sight, they played the Timmins Falcons (the num- ber 1 team in the Ontario 14U BB rankings) on Sunday morning in the semi-final game coming out on top 2-1. Rose Pande got the start in the gold medal game against Ancaster Avalanche. At the end of regulation time the teams were tied at 0-0.
