Obituaries Obituaries EMBERLIN, Ruth - Peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2017, with her loving family by her side at the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital in Goderich. Born in Lucknow, Ontario, on August 31, 1937, Ruth Ann Emberlin of Goderich, formerly of Lucknow, Toronto and Mattawa, was in her 80th year. Predeceased by her beloved life partner Estelle Belanger, parents Frederick and Barbara (nee Solomon) Emberlin, and her brothers Douglas (Dorothy) Emberlin and Dennis Emberlin. Greatly missed and much loved by her daughter Mary (Rick) McGlynn of Bayfield, grandchildren Becky (Aaron) Harding of Fordwich, John (Sandy) McGlynn of Seaforth, and great- grandchildren Brett, Avery and Aiden Harding and Duke and Rory McGlynn. Dear sister of Roy (Betty) Emberlin of Lucknow, Paul (Jane) Emberlin of Toronto, Wendy (Ken) Gardner of Point Clark, John Emberlin of Goderich, Joy (Lou) Jurjens of Lucknow, and sister-in-law of Marie Emberlin of North Bay. Ruth will also be missed by her extended Belanger family members, as well as her many nieces, nephews and friends. At Ruth's request cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held. Following the service her urn is being placed alongside Estelle's at the All Saints Mausoleum in North Bay.
