The Robert S. Pierson vessel arrived at the Goderich
Port late on April 5. Town of Goderich Administrator
Larry McCabe (right) and Director of Operations Chip
Wilson (left) boarded the vessel at 11:30pm. Together,
they presented Captain Ted Brown with the Top Hat.
The vessel left the Goderich Port around 7am on April 6
and therefore the presentation was requested on short
notice that evening. The vessel travelled to Detroit and
carried 16 000 metric tonnes of salt on its departure.
