Interest of 1.25% (15% per annum) will be added to unpaid installments on April 1st, 2017. If you have recently purchased property or have not received a tax notice please contact the Town Hall, 57 West Street, Goderich, 524-8344 ext 213. Tax payments may be made in the following ways: at financial institutions in the Town of Goderich, municipal office (cheque, cash or debit) telephone/net banking, pre -authorized payments and post dated cheques. After hour payments can be dropped into the mailbox at the front of Town Hall (cheques only - no cash). "We have been playing the lottery as a group for over a decade," shared group leader Danny while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto where the group picked up their winnings. "We range in age from 25-65 and we work in various departments of a local radio stations including sales, management, news writers and announcers." Danny was with his wife when he first learned about the group's big win. "I went to OLG.ca and read out the numbers while my wife checked the ticket. The 'Lotto Max Maxmillions' numbers all matched up so I took the ticket to the retailer for validation." Group members received an email from Danny a short time later. "The subject line was, 'Lotto group: Important message:" Matt responded by saying, "It is too early for April Fools. Is this for real?" Phil shed some tears of joy and Lucy's reaction was priceless. "I was in the bathroom and yelled to my boyfriend, 'My office just won a million dollars!" Plans are underway for a group celebratory lunch. Alaskan cruise, home reno- vations and the purchase of a house are also on the group's wish list. One mem- ber will be getting married this year and the win will help pay for that special event. Since its launch in Sep- tember 2009, Ontario Lotto Max players have won over $3.7 billion in prizes, including 49 jackpot wins and 443 winning MaxMil- lions tickets from all across the province. The winning ticket was purchased at Harriston Con- venience on Elora Street in Harriston.
