The Midget AE team trav-
elled to Montreal to play in
the CHE International Cup
hockey tournament.
This team had been saving
its best hockey for now, fac-
ing handpicked teams from
the entire state of New York
and two teams from Ver-
mont. The Sailors played to
an undefeated record
through round robin play.
"1 his was the best hockey we
played all year" Coach Lynch
states. "We had minimal pen-
alty trouble, but when we had
to, our penalty kill was second
to none. Not sure if it was to do
with all the practise we had this
year. Our fore -check and back
check by the forwards was
relentless throughout the entire
tournament. The defence
cleared out the front of the
crease and boxed out superbly
giving our goaltenders a clear
sight for making saves. When
we do that our goalies are some
of the best and we are rewarded
with success. It was a great team
effort':
Congratulations to Ryan
Lynch, Alex Gettner, Owain
