Yes it is that time of the year again, the Annual Kinsmen/Kinette
TV Auction has arrived. I would like to thank the donators, bidders,
volunteers, and Kin members for making last year's Auction our most
successful ever. The monies raised was donated right back into the
community.
Last year we celebrated the 25 anniversary of the TV Auction and
this year the Goderich Kinsmen are celebrating their 70 anniversary of
"Serving The Community's Greatest Needs". The club is in the midst
of planning a celebration on May 13. We would like to invite members
from the past and present along with members of our community to
come out and help us celebrate this huge achievement. We are firming
up the final arrangements and we will he publishing the details soon
so keep an eye out for thein. This is hound to he an enjoyable night of
reminiscing and rekindling memories for everyone with a few special
surprises thrown in. Without the community's support this milestone
would never have been reached and for this we thank von all !
With Canada celebrating its 150th Birthday, plans are- being made
for a huge July 1 weekend Celebration and we hope everyone will join
in all the festivities planned.
Our club has been having another great year, our Social Gaming
Night/ Elimination Draw was a huge success and we would like to
thank everyone who supported the event. The Santa Claus parade
again went ott without a hitch, and everyone enjoyed Santa's visit.
Coming up in a few short weeks we will be having the annual Easter
Egg Hunt on the Square in Goderich, remember to get their early for
your Easter treats. Don't forger Summerfest will return to the Square
July 13-15 for a weekend of fun and entertainment.
The club has enjoyed recent growth with the edition of 4 new
members. If anyone is interested in being a part of -the Kin family
