James Reid Hogg of Goderich in his 84th year. Jim leaves behind his loving wife of 63 years, Catherine (nee Bogie). Cherished father and father-in-law to Jim and Colleen Hogg, Aileen and Paul Petrozzi and Alex and Angel Hogg. Proud Papa of 11 grandchildren and 8 beautiful great grandchildren. Loving son of the late James and Margaret Hogg (Edinburgh). Close son in law to the late Stephen and Isabella Bogie (Windsor). Dear brother of Jessie (Edinburgh) and the late Donald Hadden, Alex and Liz (England) and the late Betty Luke. Dear brother-in-law of Willie and Marion Luke. Jim appreciated his visits and support from his friends during his illness. A celebration of his life with family, friends and neighbors will be held at a later date at his home that he loved. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Homeless Veteran Fund at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #109, Goderich would be greatly appreciated. Ina Mae Durst, of Waterdown, formerly of Goderich and . Clinton area until 2005, youngest daughter of Edward and Clara Maskell, beloved wife of the late Milford Durst (2004); dear mother of Eleanor Mae and Ron Steepe of Waterdown and Barbara (predeceased 2008) and Mike Southwood of Toronto, Loving grandmother of Linda Mae Ogilvie (David), Marjorie Lenko (Peter), Donna Shewchyk (Mark) and Chris Finkle and seven great-grandchildren; Liam and Ella Ogilvie, Emily Lenko, Vanessa, Isabella, Ava and Cole Shewchyk. Predeceased by sister Cepha Mary Grace Bell and brother Arthur Edward Maskell. Her education in Goderich High School included a two year business course which has served her well over the years. Ina Mae was an active member of the Benmiller United and Wesley - Willis United Church, former President of the Canadian Cancer Society for Huron County and former member of the Horticultural Society. Ina Mae and Milford were owners of the 'Durst Farm and Garden Centre' in Clinton and were involved in many other community activities. In 2005, Ina Mae moved to Village Manor followed by Alexander Place in Waterdown. Her family extend their thanks to both caring staffs. In Waterdown she was welcomed by St James United Church, and continued to take part in many family events and activities. A visitation was held on Tuesday, January 24 at the KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill Street, Waterdown, Ontario. Funeral Service was held at Falconer Funeral Home, 153 High Street, Clinton, Ontario on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 1:30 pm followed by a Spring interment at Colborne Cemetery. In memory of Ina Mae, donations to the Clinton Memorial Hospital or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Beloved wife of the late Elmer McWhinney (2000). Loving mother of Barbara and her husband Wayne Collins; of Omemee, Jim and his wife Marnie; of Tillsonburg, Heather McWhinney and her husband Bob' Hawkins; of Tillsonburg and Brent and his wife Nancy; of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Cherished to 9 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Elizabeth will be dearly missed by her son-in-law Jerry Linfield and Lois Barton, extended family here, and in Scotland and many friends. Predeceased by her daughter Marie (2001) and grandson David Pets (2014).
