"This will be a great
o.pportunity for the com-
munity to come together
as a united network to
learn ways in which we
can prevent, identify, and
stop human trafficking,"
said Deborah Logue,
Executive Director, Victim
Services Huron. "Partici-
pants will leave the work-
shop with general knowl-
edge of the warning signs,
;how human trafficking
can be reported, ways to
communicate with vic-
tims, and be a part of
building a support net-
work within our
community." -
Most people tend to
think of human trafficking
as an international issue

work of Victim Services
Providers reported that 93%
of Canada's trafficking vic-
tims came from Can-
fda. OPP report that
roughly 65% of all police -
reported human trafficking
cases in the country are in
Ontario. This workshop will
promote awareness that
human trafficking may be
occurring in Huron County
and not being reported.
This workshop will be a
great networking opportu-

skills to identify human
trafficking in our county,
to pool our resources, and
work together to provide
the best support possible
for victims of human traf-
ficking and sexual exploi-
tation. Tickets are availa-
