Some- times we hike on the Mait- land Trail, sometimes in local conservation areas, and sometimes we even explore Huron County towns and vil- lages. If you enjoy walking and conversation - come join the Tuesday Trompers! The hikes take approximately one hour hike/walk Group mem- bers with e-mail addresses are notified each week where the next week's destination will be. If you wish to be on this list, e-mail Al Sanders at: allan.sanders@hurontel. on.ca The Brand New Thursday Hikes Every Thursday 9 a.m. for 2 hours Starting on Thursday Dec. 15, 2016, there -will be weekly hikes on the Lobb's Trail. The aim is to have a weekly two-hour hike or snowshoe at a moderately fast pace in the Lobb's Trail, starting at 9 am. These will continue through until March 30th and the only expected exception will be when the road between Clinton and Goderich is closed. If the weather is poor the hike may be shorter than two hours. Lobb's Trail is often groomed so snow shoeing is rarely overly strenuous. If there is sufficient interest the hikes will continue past March and include other area trails Leader is Patrick Capper email pcapper99@gmail. com, phone 519-606-0016. However, there is no need to phone, just show up by 9 am at the Lobb's parking area (see Trail 15 in the Huron County Hiking Guide).
