The Goderich Vikings
field hockey team were
winners of the Waterloo -
Ox ford tournament Frinday,
October 14. The Vikes,
always strong finishers,
took second place this year
in Huron ,Perth to rivals
South Huron. South Huron
handed the Vikes their
critical loss in .Listowel in
early November, ending
the season with a 10-2-0
record.
PIRATES UPSET
The Goderich Pirates
got an unpleasant surprise
after winning their season
opener against Clinton.
The WOAA reversed the
win after the Pirates fielded
suspended skater JefSilver,
who came to the Pirates
from Komoka. GM Trevor
Bazinet said he received no
