s. And that's what it's
all about. And if 2011 was a for-
gettable year for some, sending it
on its way and ushering in 2012
will be a good thing.
In addition, the upcoming the-
atrical year will present the usual
stellar performances on stage.
John Murrell's "Waiting for the
Parade" will make its triumphant
return to The Livery for eight per-
formances February 16 - 26.
The impact of World War II
resounded around the globe,
and nowhere more so than in
Canadian households. Men left
home for overseas and women
left home to enter the workforce,
there to be irrevocably changed.
This well known Canadian
classic will once again touch
audiences, as the poignant sto-
ries are told of five women learn-
ing to live without their men and
finding themselves.
Following up on their mega hit
"How High the Moon" Warren
Robinson and Richard Wilson
have collaborated on a new play
of love, loss and challenge, this
time in a small town of the
1950's.
Based on real life stories from
Goderich, "Red Sails in the Sunset"
will spin the tale through drama, song
and dance from April 26 to May 6.
With book and lyrics written by
Warren Robinson, the score com-
posed by Wilson, and musical direc-
tion by Eleanor Robinson, this 2012
production will undoubtedly be a
must -see.
In addition, Livery Manager Lisa
I food has a number of cultural events
in the works hound to provide won-
derful evenings of great entertain-
ment during the upcoming year as
part of New Beginnings at the
theatre.
So dig out your party duds -semi-
formal or inspired -and kick start
your New Year with an evening of fun
at The Livery on December 31st.. A
great way to sett the tone for 2012.
