Throughout 2011 Goderich's
garbage tonnage was still on the
decline.
According to figures provided by
the- Mid -Huron Landfill Site
Board (MHLSB), Goderich resi-
dents threw out about 15.4 per
cent less garbage in the first half
of 2010 than the previous year
and .16.5 per cent less from July
to December,
In 2009, the total tonnage of
landfilled garbage that came
from Goderich was 3,882.99
tonnes. In 2010, that figure
decreased to 3264.80 - a,reduc-
tion of 15.92 per cent:

plan :was outlined to turn 4.92
acres at 362 Huron Road into a
39 -unit residentialdevelopment.
