The Maple Tree housing development received an infusion of $910,000 from the county and province to see
the project to completion in July 2012. Excavation began on the site last week and 60 per cent of interior
construction is already complete.

With 200 people on the waiting list
for affordable housing in Goderich, the
13 -unit building will make a dent, but
Grace said there is still a long way to go
to fulfill the total capacity.
