Huron -Bruce MPP Ben
Lobb, Goderich Councilor
Kevin Morrison and Judy
Crawford all spoke during the
launch, and called the book
an important piece of history.
"We can look back on how
the community was very lucky
and fortunate. Even though
there was loss of life, we all
know that there could have
been quite literally hundreds
of people lost in that tornado,"
said Lobb. "Fifty or 75 years
from now when people ask
why does :the Town of
Goderich look like it does
today, the stories in this book
will reflect that."
