on projects with tangible results.
As such, vows MacLellan, he plans to
provide either verbal or written reports
from every event, workshop and session
he attends as Huron County's warden.
Though, says MacLellan, he will not be
everywhere.
"1 will not attend everything I'm
invited to," says MacLellan. "It must be
something that serves Huron County as
a whole."
Ashfield Colborne Wawanosh Reeve
Ben Van Diepenbeek nominated
MacLellan for the position.
"I am confident we will not be disap-
pointed," says Van Diepenbeek, noting
MacLellan's political career stretches
back 20 years when the father of four
was first elected as a councillor for Tuck-
ersmith Township. MacLellan who has
served on numerous committees and
boards since that day is now the Mayor
of Huron East and is the owner of Jamco
Trailers and the newly opened MVP
Power Systems, which works with the
wind, solar and M.icroF! 11 industries.
MacLellan noted that he will be fol-
lowing in his predecessor's footsteps by
continuing with Vincent's decision to

Meanwhile, the outgoing warden gave
thanks to fellow county councillors for
their part in what has proven to be an
interesting year.
"Living in Huron County, I have to say
we are very blessed: says Vincent, not-
ing he spent 170 days away from home
on county business in 2011 with some
days that were 19 hours' long.
"It's truly been an honour represent-
ing Huron County and thank you very
much for that," said Vincent.
