The food drive has been going on for
almost 20 years now, and includes both Salt -
ford and the VLA. Spearheading this year's
drive are students Sarah Adams and Melissa
Eyles.
Elsewhere on the GDCI front, the school
is looking to unveil a new fundraiser for the
Vikings - community discount cards. Nine
local businesses have offered discounts on
products and services ranging from 18 lioles
o_ f golf to 10 percent off at local merchants.
The idea is to shop local and at the same
time, raise money for extra -curricular pro-
grams and activities at the school. Proceeds
from the school's biggest fundraiser, the
GDCI Walkathon, were donated entirely to
the tornado relief effort.

CEO, Karen Davis was the guest speaker at the Hospital Auxiliary's November
Ms. Davis' personable manner was well received by members. She answered
talked about hearth care and discussed her own background. She was kind enough

Dec. 4 is white Gift Sunday and everyone
is asked to bring a gift to put under the tree
for the children's Aid Society Christmas
Bureau and mittens are needed for the mit-
ten tree.
After the Dec. 11 service there will he a
potluck lunch and concert for the young
and young at heart. The Christmas Sunday
service will he Dec. 18 at 10:30 a.m. and on
Dec. 24 the Christmas Eve service will start
at 7 p.m. It is always special.

NextEra Energy Canada, together with Canadian Green Power, is planning to engage in a
renewable energy project in" respect. of which the issuance of a renewable energy approval
required. The proposal to engage in the project and the project itself is subject to the provisions of
the Environmental Protection Act (Act) Part V0.1 and Ontario Regulation 359/09 (Regulation).. This
notice must be distributed lin accordance with. section 15 of the Regulation prior to an application
being submitted and assessed forcompleteness by the Ministry of the Environment

Project Description: Pursuantto the Act and Regulation, the facility, in respect of which this project
is to be engaged in, is a Class 4 Wind Facility. If approved, this facility. would have a total maximum
name plate capacity of 102 MW. The project location is described in the reap (Figure 1).
Documents for Public Inspection: The Draft Project Description Report titled "Project Description
Report.- Goshen Wind Energy Centre" describes the project as consisting of up. to 63 GE 1.6
MW turbines, step-up transformers, transformer substations, electrical collector and transmission
systems, turbine access roads, operations building, meteorological towers and construction staging
areas.
A written copy of the Draft Prriiect Description Report is available for public inspection at
