Sincerely Warren and Eleanor Robinson James Crow, Leddys instrumental in music event To the editor, On. the 13th of November, 2011 throngs of people gath- ered together at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 109 Goderich with one common purpose and that was to sup- port the Legion's fundraiser for. the Town of Goderich. It: was a tremendous success thanks in large part to the organizers, Legionnaires Norm and Sandra Leddy and lames Crow. lames Crow is a talented local musician with Sunset Hotel who is uncharacteristi- cally shy when it comes to sharing the credit for this great event. But it was through his efforts that we were able to rally :fifteen different local musical groups each of whom played for about an hour in between cheque presentations. and set changes. There was lit- erally something for everyone in terms of musical genre and all very entertaining. There was an abundance of generosity in the Legion hall that day, not only by those in attendance but evidenced by donations from the Mount Forest Legion and three friends from the Grand Bend Legion, Louise Lockrey, Sherrie Con- way and Willa Atkin who did fundraisers at the Legion to raise $1,700 for our. town. But it doesn't stop there because there were many more unnamedindividuals who donated various amounts large and small to make up .a grand total of $18,500 raised for the Goderich and Area Disaster Relief.Pund. So when words are not enough to express our sincere appreciation, we simply say "thank you". Thank you to all the musicians who donated their time and talent, to the People question wisdom of temporary court 7b the editors, I think Jim Donnelly misunderstood the "neg- ative public petcepdon" of the temporary struc- tures.
