HomeMy WebLinkAboutGoderich Signal Star, 2011-11-16, Page 25Goderich St • nal -Star • Wednesday, November 16, 2011 Legion rededicated following building repair Following the Remembrance Day service in Courthouse Park Friday, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 109 celebrated the re -dedication of their home at the junction of Kingston and Stanley Streets in Goderich. The structure was damaged during the August 21 tornado, and repair work to the building's roof has now been completed. Legion Chaplain Archdeacon Allan Livingstone led a small service at the branch and thanked those in attendance for gathering to celebrate 109s rightful place in the community. "On this day we do hereby dedicate this building in God's name ... none of this work would be possible without the people," Livingstone said.
