Dave McLlwain of Seaforth is returning to his
roots in Huron County and the former Leaf is
best known for playing for a record four teams in
one season. He suited up for Toronto, New York
Islanders, Winnipeg Jets and Buffalo Sabres.
Drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1986,
McLlwain bounced around the league for many
years, playing his final game on March 29, 1997.
He finished his NHL career with loo goals and
107 assists in 501 games.
Mark Osborne played in Toronto for nearly six
years, playing with Leeman and Ed Olczyk on a
productive line. He was traded to Winnipeg but
returned to the Leafs in 1992 and helped the
team reach the conference finals in two
successive seasons, 1993 and 94, just falling short
of reaching the Stanley Cup finals.
Dave Hutchison of London played with sev-
eral NHL teams in Los Angeles, Toronto, Chicago
and New Jersey over a 681 game career. He
racked up 1,735 penalty minutes to go along with
131 points but was known for his hard-nosed
defensive play.
McLlwain and Osobrne both played in Young
Canada Week in Goderich in their peewee years.
McLlwain, of course, played with Seaforth and
led the team to a championship in 1979 while
Osborne played in Goderich with Toronto
Shopseys in 1974.

tournament was awesome, Just great
and there were no glitches. The support
from teams for our town was amazing
and many people simply gave
donations."
