Inc of as Male option for schools Dew Sykes Goderich Signal -Star Committee looks for rural options for schools SWEA, an economic alliance encompassing 15 counties in Southwestern Ontario, has realized an injection of govern- ment funds to stimulate economic activity in the region. Barnim said SWEA had significant money that mightbe avail- able to keep schools open. The ARC will hold monthly public meetings at the school before having to make its recommendation to the board in March 2012. Board staff will recommend an option but the final decision will be made the AMDSB board of trustees fol- lowing input from ARC, staff, school communities and the public. The committee is composed of Bryan Olson and Helen Lobb, representing Holmesville School, Darlene Hewitt and Rebecca Ingham, representing Colborne Central School while Alison Lobb, Central Huron and Connie Black, ACW are the municipal reps on the committee. In opening state- ments, all indicated their hope was "to do the best for the kids and education." The next meeting is schedule for Nov. 23 at the Victoria campus of Colborne School in Goderich.
