The greyness of the afternoon Oct. 2 reflected the solemnity
of the silent Life Chain, held in Goderich at the corner
of Hwy. 21 and Suncoast Drive. The pro-life vigil was,
according to Goderich and District Pro -Life president Nancy
Bartz, a way to emphasize that Canada has no law to protect
the pre -born, and to raise awareness of the risks involved
for young women. The Goderich chain was one of many
taking place between 2 and 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

As years roll-on and days pass by.

Of the ones we love and never will forget.

MERIAM
In loving memory of Ashley Patrice Meriam,
August 24, 1984 - October 5, 2001.
It's been three thousand six hundred and fif-
ty days,
Since we've last seen your smile or touched
your face.
Why you had to leave, I'II never know;
At seventeen, you were too young to go.
Your lite so full of promise and.hope,
Our loss so complete, we barely cope.
Days turn to weeks, to months, to years,
Time has a way of drying our tears.
The love we feel deep in our hearts;
The passage of time can never erase,
Till we again can touch your face.
Missed always by Mom, Dad, Kayla.
Crystal, David and Becky.
