Assistance, support, financial dona-
tions and fundraising items have been
offered to the town of Goderich from
people across the country.
Now you can add the NHL fraternity
tothelist of those willing to help the
town in its time of need,
Sean O'Brien, formerly of Goderich
and now the Team Services Manager for
the Calgary Flames of the NHL has con-
nected with teams across the league and
is forwarding a list of impressive dona-
tions, many to be auctioned off this Sat-
urday at the Out of the Storm concert to
raise money for the Disaster Relief
Fund.
The son of Mike and Barb O'Brien of
Goderich, Sean heard about the devas-
tation of the tornado from sister Debbie.
and began reaching out to colleagues
and friends around the league to donate
memorabilia that could be auctioned
off to raise needed funds. Helping from
a distance with the NHL season
approaching meant Sean couldn't make
a trip home but he began gathering
items to help raise funds for his
hometown.
He has already shipped hockey items
to Goderich, including autographed
sticks from Flames stars Jarome Iginla
come from that team.
One of the prized items offered for
auction will be the Team Canada 2010
Olympics autographed stick by signed
all players invited to the orientation
camp.

ers has forwarded -an autographed stick
as has Edmonton Oilers young star Jor-
dan Eberle.
